"Close your eyes and try to picture the feeling of true comfort. Are you thinking of soft cushions piled upon other soft cushions? That was the starting point for Khodi Feiz as he responded to a brief that asked for an easily-positioned and comfortable easy chair with generous proportions and a timeless character. Pillo stacks the characteristic parts of an easy chair on top of each other: a headrest on top of a backrest on top of a comfortable seat on top of a rocking swivel base. This basic clarity is then refined into a sculptural form where one part flows effortlessly into the next. The design is a love letter to the art of soft upholstering – and a distant relative of Yngve Ekström’s classic Rondino swivel chair." - Swedese, 2018.
