Our ongoing collaboration with Huawei has resulted in the development of a comprehensive design DNA exploration focusing on high quality materials, a clean, sophisticated design language and a focus on user experience. Establishing Huawei as a premium, design driven brand within these domains.

Amongst the successfully launched products at the CES 2017 are the Matebook E Tablet and the Matebook X 13” Laptop.

The ultra-thin metallic unibody of the Matebook E with specially developed CNC finishing techniques defines the ultimate premium essence. The detachable Smart Keyboard cover with backlit chiclet keys delivers a comfortable typing experience on a wide range of stand angles up to 160 degrees. The unique exposed metal hinge element surrounded by a fabric folio cover is not only functional but also forms a strong and simple identity emphasizing the use of high quality materials.

At just 12.5mm thick the Mate Book X Laptop is as thin as a magazine and smaller than an A4 sheet of paper, but delivers the full performance of a PC for both work and entertainment. The design is based on a single flowing rounded wedge form with sophisticated metallic finishing, creating a sophisticated sense of minimalism.
